How long will it take to get to a real estate closing?
Hi-I am Mark Saladin and I am one of the partners here at Zanck Coen Wright & Saladin in Crystal Lake Illinois and I have been a practicing attorney for over 30 years; most of them right here at this firm. Today we are going to talk about common real estate questions.
So if you come into our office with a real estate contract and let’s say you have a real estate broker, we will usually get a copy of the contract from the broker. The time it takes to get to a closing will be dependent on the buyer and whether or not the buyer requires a loan.
So there will be time for financing on the buyer’s end. Usually that takes between 45 and 60 days. During that timeframe there are other things that are going on with respect to obtaining title report, obtaining a survey and the whole process usually will take between 60 and 90 days and it’s all dependent on how soon the buyer can secure his financing.
The law firm of Zanck Coen Wright & Saladin provides exceptional customer service. My practice has been devoted for over 30 years to real estate, zoning, development, business and corporate matters. If you need assistance, we will be happy to hear from you. Please call us at 815-459-8800.
