Thomas C. Zanck and his wife, Charie A. Zanck, recently returned from the Illinois Bankers Association annual conference in St. Louis. During the conference, they attended the presentations made by representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank, the FDIC, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Scott Clark from the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. The general tenor of the presentation was that the capital structure of Illinois banks has improved significantly.
